Non Surgical Skin Tightening

Plasma treatments are super quick and pain free.

You can banish your loose skin or hooded eyes in your lunch break!

With our advanced Plasma technique downtime is incredibly quick. Tell tale "carbon crusts" are much smaller than with traditional plasma treatments and swelling is minimal.

The device that we use "Love Plasma" in our opinion gives the best results, without the skin trauma that other plasma devices cause.

Our clients enjoy fast, painless treatments with minimal downtime and great results

"Imagine Your Wrinkles Gone"

“The collagen and elastin in your skin work as scaffolding, or struts holding up a bridge.

As we age these deteriorate, allowing the skin to

sag and wrinkles to form

Plasma treatments, (also known as fibroblasting)

renew collagen and elastin

rejuvenating the skin.”

Plasma Pen Skin Tightening Eyelid Lifting

Plasma – is an ionised gas created by a special device. Think of it as a teeny tiny, skin tightening lightning bolt.

After numbing the skin with creams, we place tiny little dots around the area you want to tighten, working with your skins problem area – this is only in the eipdermis causing it to retract. The skin is left with little dots (carbon crusts) which fall away in a few days.

The elasticity of the skin is improved, and a distinctive tightening is made possible.

In a matter of seconds you can have flawless skin

  • Minimally invasive
  • No injections required
  • No stitching or suturing
  • No chance of over correction (as with surgery)
  • Safer than surgery or ablative laser
  • Quick recovery (can be a ‘lunchtime’ treatment)
  • Safe and effective, with proven results

Plasma / Fibroblasting can be used for:

  • Skin tightening
  • Eyelid lifting (non-surgical blepharoplasty)

It is important that you arrive to your appointment without makeup on the area you are having treated. If you are having areas treated around your eyes, lash extensions and strip lashes must be removed 24 hrs before (we can not treat you if you arrive with these) and if you wear contact lenses please bring your case and glasses with you as you can not wear contact lenses during the session.

Before your treatment, we will undertake a consultation. We will talk about your skin, your medical history and what you would like to achieve from

your session. This can be done over the phone, face to face or on the same day as your treatment.

To ensure your comfort a local anaesthetic cream can be applied before commencing the procedure, which may feel prickly on the skin - although most people feel nothing.

Once your skin has been numbed, plasma energy will be applied to your skin. This takes just a few minutes for small areas. This will temporarily leave small dots "carbon crusts" on your skin.

Dots will be covered with soothing collodial silver gel, which you will be given some to take away.

Simple aftercare is explained, and you will be given information to take away. Aftercare includes avoiding bright sunlight, and being extra careful with the application of SPF in the weeks after your session.

Dots/carbon crusts fall away over 5-7 days (up to 3 weeks on the body areas like the arms or stomach). You may experience some minor, managable swelling or puffiness which is normal and should be expected.

Enjoy Your Results!! Your skin will continue to remodel for upto 12 weeks after your session, increasing in tightness

What is Plasma?

Plasma is the forth state of matter. A plasma arc is achieved by the device by giving molecules in the air extra energy. The tiny sparks created, cause micro trauma to the skin. The healing process of these traumas, heals the skin from the inside, creating more collagen and elastin and tightening the skin. This tightens the skin, and reduces lines and wrinkles.

How long do Fibroblasting /Love plasma treatments last?

The results from fibroblast treatments are incredibly long lasting – so long lasting they are considered to be permanent. Of course the skin does continue to age after your treatment, but visible results can be seen on average for around three years depending on your genetics and lifestyle choices.

If we are treating an area like the vertical mouth lines/smokers lines, the action of you continuing to smoke may speed up the process of wrinkles returning, more than someone who does not smoke – but results will still be very long lasting.

Does Plasma / Fibroblasting treatment hurt?

Areas are always numbed before treatment begins. Most clients describe the sensation as a light zap, but many go on to have a power nap during their session! Of course discomfort is subjective, but we use uber fine probes, and accurate devices, which allow your treatment to be carried out in the most efficient way. With the alternatives like surgery, the discomfort would be undoubtable more painful.

What aftercare do I need to follow?

Aftercare is an essential part of your Plasma treatment. Aftercare is simple and easy to follow. There is a simple aftercare routine, which includes wearing a SPF sun screen to protect your skin from hyperpigmentation, a healing balm, and a mineral concealer which can be used right after your session. The are all provided at no extra cost, as part of your treatment.

When will I see results?

Someof the results can be seen instantly, with them improving in the weeks after your treatment as the skin creates new collagen and elastin.

How long does healing take?

Typicallyyou can expect to have ‘carbon crusts’ , small polka dots on the area that has been treated. These naturally slough away around day 5, and can be covered using the mineral concealer that we provide you. There may be some swelling, especially if the eye area is treated, again this tends to resolve very quickly.

Will it leave a scar?

Generally no. Plasma treatments preserve the tissue matrix which is relatively resistant, and therefore allows for proper cosmetic healing with minimal scarring. This will of course depend on your skin type, and how well you follow the aftercare advice. Hypo-pigmentation in the area (a small pink patch of skin, where new skin has formed, that is lighter in colour) may be visible for 2-6 months.

What if I have darker skin?

Fitzpatrick skin types V & VI are not suitable for treatment due to the risks of hyperpigmentation.

Who isn’t the treatment suitable for?

Pregnant or breastfeeding women and those with auto-immune disorders or those taking blood thinners are not suitable for treatment. It is not suitable for those that suffer from keloid scarring.
